yeah, i´m a smart one
i took my first subte (ba subway) ride today. i´ve been here a month and have only just experienced the joy of a buenos aires subway ride. it was fantastic, except that smart heather here decided it would be a good idea to go from the center of town out towards the burbs on a hot weekday during rush hour. oh lord. not good times...

Reminds me of the time I insisted on taking two young kids round-trip on a SF cable-car. Bad choice!
ew, that doesn´t sound fun, especially if there were long lines involved...
The first half hour was fantastic, but with all of the stops, we finally reached the turn around! But since we were parked at the other end, we had to stay on and go the whole way back. The girls (about 9 and 11) were freaky wrecks by that point. And so was I! We were so happy to see Fisherman's Wharf!
